Cut the loquat leaves and put them in a container. Cut the leaves into few centimeter pieces with scissors. Using dried loquat leaves in this recipe.
For 1.8 liters of shochu use loquat leaves about 150 grams.

When using fresh loquat leaves, use leaves that are more than a year old and are dark green and thick. Wash loquat leaves with wet cloth take out all dirt and dust. After that, dry under the sun. Take out loquat leaves, store loquat leaf extract for 2 to 4 months. When loquat leaves turn brown, take them out.
